Positive discipline parenting classes
St. Joseph and Redwood Memorial Hospitals have established a partnership with Kohl’s department stores to help prevent child abuse on the North Coast. The Kohl’s Safety for Kids program provides positive discipline classes where parents can learn healthy and effective discipline and communication and coping skills. Together we’re working to create healthy communities through prevention and education. Positive discipline classes are free and open to the whole community. They are held throughout the year at several of our Community Resource Center locations.
Please call 442-5239 for more information. Kohl’s sells kid-friendly cause merchandise, with 100 percent of the net profit donated to support kids’ health and education initiatives in communities nationwide, including the positive discipline parenting classes on the North Coast.
