St. Joseph Hospital Foundation - Upcoming Special Events
Peter Cottontail and Friends Easter Celebration
The St. Joseph Hospital Foundation hosts the 6th Annual Peter Cottontail and Friends Easter Celebration on Saturday, April 4, 2009. This family-fun event is a local favorite, and sells out each year. With costumed characters including Peter Cottontail, Elmo, Spiderman and more, carnival games, egg hunts, lunch, a Dutch raffle and silent auction, this is a day for the whole family to enjoy. All proceeds from this event support Pediatric needs at St. Joseph Hospital.
2009 Golf Classic Tournament and Dinner On Thursday night, June 25, guests enjoy a delicious dinner and live auction at Baywood Golf and Country Club. On the following day, Friday, June 26, a scramble format Golf Tournament takes place beginning at 12:00 p.m. Golfers enjoy a variety of fun activities at each golf hole, lunch, and a raffle.
The proceeds for this event will go towards the building of the new Northeast tower on the St. Joseph Hospital campus. This new facility will modernize healthcare and create a state-of-the-art acute care hospital in our community.
This sell-out tournament brings recognition to the hospital and its sponsors and builds strong community support. A variety of sponsorship levels are available.
Our Heroes and Heroines in Healthcare In the summer of 2009, the St. Joseph Hospital Foundation will introduce a new program honoring Our Heroes and Heroines in Healthcare.
It will provide our community, hospital guests, employees and physicians with an opportunity to honor the person or team who has made a difference in care giving.
Some of the Our Heroes and Heroines in Healthcare program highlights are: Honors excellence in the hospital. Creates a way for grateful patients to show their gratitude. Promotes a culture of philanthropy within the hospital. Recognizes a caregiver who has made a difference. Helps donors become involved in the hospital. Allows doctors and staff to recognize their team members. Creates an atmosphere of world-class healthcare in the community.
