Easter is happening early this year and the Peter Cottontail & Friends Easter Celebration is right around the corner. This fun family event will take place on Saturday, March 24 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Arcata Community Center.

This year we expect more than 350 community residents to enjoy the afternoon with family and friends. And with the fantastic games, food and prizes, this event will be the happiest place to be in Humboldt County!

Over the past eight years, this fun family event has raised more than $108,000 to benefit St. Joseph Hospital’s pediatric services, neonatal intensive care unit and the Childbirth Center.

St. Joseph Hospital Foundation Golf Classic 2012

Mark your calendars for St. Joseph Hospital’s largest fundraiser of the year! The eighth annual Dinner Classic will take place on Thursday, June 28, 2012, followed by the Golf Classic on Friday, June 29 at Baywood Golf & Country Club in Arcata. Join us for a delicious dinner featuring live and silent auctions on Thursday, followed by a golf tournament on Friday. This event sells out quickly each year so let us know if you’re interested in attending the Thursday night dinner event and/or the golf tournament the following day. This year’s tournament will once again benefit St. Joseph Hospital’s Northeast Tower capital campaign. A variety of sponsorship levels are available for individuals and businesses.
