Endoscopy nursing practice is defined as the nursing care of patients with known or suspected bronchial or gastrointestinal problems who are undergoing diagnostic or therapeutic endoscopic procedures. Nursing care includes the care and treatment necessary to provide comfort, assist individuals in the promotion and maintenance of health, provide safe and proficient care during Endoscopy, and other specialized procedures.

St. Joseph Hospital is open 24-hours a day, 7 days a week for emergency care
Surgery Center - Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 5:30 pm
GI Endoscopy - Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm
After hours services provided on an on-call basis.
