 Redwood Memorial Hospital is located in Fortuna. Redwood Memorial Hospital has begun a Journey of Holistic Patient-Centered Care. We honor the fundamental wholeness and integrity of the individual by encouraging the patients to be more involved in their own care. Patients are in control of health care decisions and have better access to a broad spectrum of health and medical information. RMH services include Women’s and Children’s Services in The New Beginnings Maternity Center, Cardiopulmonary Services, Intensive Care Unit, and the Radiology Department, which offers bone density testing. The Surgery Department at Redwood Memorial Hospital recently underwent renovation to modernize its surgical suites. RMH has an Emergency Room that boasts Emergency Medicine Board Certified physicians.

 St. Joseph Hospital (comprised of two campuses located within a quarter mile of each other in Eureka): the St. Joseph Hospital main campus is a full-service acute-care state-of-the-art facility. Services include cardiac surgery in The Heart Institute, an accredited Cancer Program including the latest technology - Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and a 64 slice CT Scanner - and Women’s and Children’s services in The Childbirth Center including pediatric services and the only Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Nursery (NICU) on the North Coast. SJH has an Emergency Room that boasts Emergency Medicine Board Certified physicians as well as the Urgent Care Clinic.
General Hospital Campus offers a Medical Rehabilitation Center - including Occupational Medicine - as well as Outpatient Laboratory Services, the Sleep Disorders Center, Endoscopy Suites, and Positron Emission Therapy (PET/CT).
